Home Buyers’ Plan (HBP)

A program that allows first-time homebuyers to withdraw funds from their Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) to buy or build a qualifying home without immediate tax consequences. The withdrawn amount must be repaid to the RRSP over 15 years.
